Ezekiel J. Emanuel Chief Medical Programs Officer Ezekiel J. Emanuel, MD, PhD is a prominent physician, bioethicist, and health policy expert. He currently serves as Chief Medical Programs Officer, drawing on decades of experience in clinical care, ethics, and healthcare reform. Dr. Emanuel earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and holds a Ph.D. in political philosophy from Harvard University, as well as degrees from Oxford University and Amherst College. His early training included an internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Hospital and an oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.He was the founding chair of the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health and later served as a Special Advisor on Health Policy in the Obama administration, contributing to the Affordable Care Act. Dr. Emanuel has written or edited over 15 books and 350 scholarly articles on healthcare delivery, end-of-life care, and medical ethics. He is a widely recognized voice in public debates, often contributing to national publications and television news outlets. His leadership spans global health, serving as an advisor to the World Health Organization and as a senior fellow at a major policy think tank.

Sharon Baker Brown β Program Manager
Sharon Baker is an accomplished healthcare executive with a deep foundation in nursing and medical management. As Vice President of Clinical Operations at Encore Healthcare, she brings decades of hands-on clinical experience and strategic leadership to improving patient care delivery and operational excellence. Sharon began her academic journey in nursing at Mt. San Antonio College and went on to complete her studies in Nursing and Medical Management at Louisiana Tech University. Terri Adams β DME Program Supervisor
Terri Adams is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in home health care, with a strong focus on the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry. Her expertise spans fiscal management, customer service, and DME-specific software systems. Over the past eleven years, she has worked in nonprofit leadership, managing projects and programs, overseeing government contracts, and leading training initiatives. Terri is highly skilled in all aspects of public relations and communications, including branding, marketing, advertising, media outreach, and social media management. As a trusted spokesperson and advocate, she has played a key role in planning events, writing press releases and reports, and working closely with government officials at local, state, and federal levels. She holds a Masterβs Degree in Adult and Community Education (GPA 3.90) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Small Business Management and Fashion Merchandising, both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Terri is also a member of the Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society and the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL).In her volunteer work, she has served as a mentor for at-risk girls at the Mt. Ararat Community Activity Center, reflecting her deep commitment to education, empowerment, and community outreach.
